Beverlee C. Melamed

Co-owner, Occupational Therapist

Canadian Certified Life Care Planner

Beverlee graduated from McGill University in 1976, with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy, Beverlee has pursued a career in working extensively in community rehabilitation.  Beverlee has created a modest scholarship program and promotes opportunities for clients to celebrate their successes through individual exhibits and projects, as is part of the philosophy in creating meaningful rehabilitation, specific to each client.

Aaron Palmer

Co-owner, Occupational Therapist

Aaron is an Occupational Therapist with Innovative Rehab. Aaron started out as an Occupational Therapy Student with Innovative Rehab in 2017. He graduated from D’Youville College in 2018, with a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. Before completing his Master’s degree, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise Science in 2015 from Concordia University Ann Arbor. Aaron continues to expand his knowledge and update his skills by attending various conferences, workshops, and webinars. He is a member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO), Canadian Association of Occupational Therapy (CAOT) and the Brain Injury Society of Toronto (BIST). He enjoys working from a client-centered perspective and supporting people by helping them to develop their own strengths, focus on their own values and priorities, and supporting meaningful lives.

Jack Yin

Occupational Therapist

Jack Yin is  a qualified and Registered Occupational Therapist in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapist of Ontario. He obtained a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from McMaster University School of Rehabilitation Sciences in 2020. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Western University. He has clinical experience in the areas of acute care, private practice, spinal cord injury rehabilitation, and case management.

Maryssa Galvao

Occupational Therapist

Maryssa is a registered occupational therapist in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. She graduated from Dalhousie University in 2021 with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. Before completing her Master’s degree, Maryssa obtained a Bachelor of Health Sciences in 2018 from Western University. She has clinical experience in the areas of primary care, private practice, ergonomics and return to work, specialty seating, and pediatrics. Maryssa is passionate about working with individuals in the community. She aims to always practice with a strength-based and holistic approach and to collaborate with individuals to work towards individualized ways to reach their meaningful goals.

Marion Feldman

Rehabilitation Coach

Marion Feldman graduated from McGill University Faculty of Education as an art specialist in 1974. In Montreal, she worked in both the fields of education and recreation for five years teaching art to both children and adults. After moving to Toronto in 1979 she developed the pottery program and directed a summer camp for the YMCA. Marion also taught in the private schools at the elementary level. She continued her education at Brock University in the field of brain injury and post 1993 has been working in rehabilitation with children and adults who have sustained head injuries. Marion ran the York Region Pediatric Support Group. Marion was involved with the Abilities Arts Festival since 2003 and was a member of the board from 2006-2012.

Wayne Fisher

Rehabilitation Coach

Wayne is a Rehabilitation Coach with Beverlee Melamed & Associates Inc. since 2004. Wayne graduated with a Diploma in Photography from the Tswane University of Technology, South Africa. Wayne Fisher continued his education at Brock University and obtained a  level 1 and 2 certificate in Brain Injury Rehabilitation as well as attending  brain injury conferences and workshops. Wayne Fisher‘s education and people skills makes him a valuable part of the team at Beverlee C. Melamed & Associates Inc., now Melamed Palmer Inc.

Linda Levy

Office Manager
Intake Coordinator

Linda has over 20 years’ working experience as an Intake Co-coordinator for a neurology-based company treating individuals with traumatic brain injuries.  Linda has strong people skills and organizational skills.  Linda enjoys interacting with clients, lawyers, insurers and case managers.  She is a caring and compassionate person and has been an asset and valuable addition to Innovative Rehab since 2010.

Emily Singh

Rehabilitation Coach

Administrative Assistant

Emily graduated from Humber College with a Bachelor of Journalism in 2016. She has continued her education through courses at Brock University in Neurorehabilitation: Assisting Recovery and Function in Everyday Life Following Brain Injury, Children and Youth with Acquired Brain Injury and Mental Health, Addictions and Brain Injury. She also possess a certification in the administration of the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA).  Her background gives her a number of assets and makes her an invaluable member of our team.

Rosemary Whyte

Registered Nurse
Case Manager

Rosemary Whyte graduated from the registered nursing programme at Kingston General Hospital School of Nursing in 1973. Since then, she has had the opportunity of caring for clients in the hospital setting (Orthopaedic and Arthritic Hospital- Registered Nurse, Hospital for Sick Children -Team Leader on surgical unit, and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre – Registered Nurse, primarily psychiatric and neurosurgical wards), in the rehabilitation setting at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehab – Registered Nurse Head Injury Programme, Coping in Crisis Escalation Programme Co-Facilitator, as well as Co-ordinating the Bloorview MacMillan Children’s Centre Designated Assessment Centre. 
For over twenty years, she has been providing case management services for injured paediatric and adult clients, primarily those who have sustained catastrophic impairments including acquired brain injuries, complex orthopaedic injuries, and those clients with pre-existing mental health and physical  disorders. Her extensive background in the healthcare field, as well as her many years proving co-ordination of community based services has proven to be a significant asset to her clients.
