Beverlee C. Melamed & Associates Inc., Innovative Rehab is proud to announce that Aaron Palmer, MSc (OT), OT Reg. (Ont.), Occupational Therapist, has joined our company as partner!
Aaron started working with us years ago, as a student; he became part of our team immediately. He graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York, and transitioned back here to Toronto, joining his family and our team.
Aaron has a strong history, interest, and experience in working in rehabilitation. He has worked at such facilities as Camp Robin Hood and the Reena Foundation, worked with individuals in acute care psychiatric programs, joined teams in group therapy sessions working with individuals who suffer with mental health/psychiatric disorders and Alzheimer’s diseases.
Since Aaron joined our team, he has shown that his dedication, strong working ethics and compassion are welcomed and are most beneficial to our company. Together with our team, he provides Occupational Therapy Services in our client’s and family’s homes and in the community, from in-hospital coordination and liaison to full community integration. He has been instrumental in contributing to our ongoing education, supervision and mentoring program, adding continual updated and most current skills and knowledge.
Professionally, Aaron is a member of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO), Ontario Society of Occupational Therapy (OSOT) and the Brain Injury Society of Toronto (BIST). He continues to complete many courses to advance his knowledge, to name a few - with Catastrophic Impairment, Situational Assessments; and is competent in these areas.
